Capsule Dorm Room Design 

I wanted to design a room that showed how space in a Dorm room can be utilized to be more efficient and flexible with some simple measures made to the design and layout of the room. 

I took inspiration from Japanese capsule hotels which are often coffin sized and have many foldable features to make the most use of limited space. 

The space was purposely kept minimalistic to allow others to reconfigure the design for other uses and purposes. 

I originally designed this room with the purpose of being able to cram an entire two person dorm along with a full bathroom with shower and kitchen into a 12 by 19 room. Currently I am working out how to create an all in one bathroom and a kitchenette so this room can be fully featured.
